Of the listed resources, I haven't heard anything back from anyone. I am actively waiting for responses to be received. The overseas research is definitely something that I would like to know more about, considering how different their programs can be from American ones.

It's great that you have made many contacts. I hope they respond back soon. It would be great to hear how different their programs are ran and hopefully we can learn what they are doing that has been successful, and the challenges that they have found that are difficult.

My Connections to Play

My Supports

I have various support systems and without them I am lost. My family has been a great source for my home life, my school life and my work life. They are all there for me when it comes to getting things done and being the help that I need when need be. I let my husband and children know how supportive they are when it comes to providing quiet time to do school work or work on stuff for work. My parents are my support for wisdom and a lot of life lessons, they provide laughter with stories of my childhood and how my kids are. They also help me with love and support in areas that are big and small.

I then have my work family, who help me with regulations, good days, bad days and ugly days. My work family and I support each other by having each others back with trust, knowledge and sharing information, responsibilities and overall being empathetic and fair. My SPS (supervisory lead) she has been my right and left hand and without her I wouldn't enjoy my job as much as I do now.

My friends are my support that anyone should always have, because there are some people who know you better, than you may know yourself and they provide an opinion that I may not see, but they bring different perspective on things. They are my go to support for fun, relaxation and sometimes to vent.

If I did not have my support system, my life would be empty and chaotic. I would probably be a mess, mind, body and spirit. I think about how lucky I am to have the support group of family, friends and work.
